Our Cath introduced me to this band,it’s her favourite of all time,i think they are a class act but…..verry Cramps influnced….let me know what you’s think….(albums can be emailed)

I’ve now been a taxi driver for almost a hundred years now(seams that long) an now within 2 weeks I’ve had a runner and a honker,the runner was a young lad who was dressed well(i’m usually good at reading people)wanted to go to Copy Lane and just as we go to the junction of Copy Lane he said “i’ll just have to pop in for the money” so i said “hurry up” he hurried up ok,went like the clappers……i usually say leave something with me then like….mobile phone,ring,necklace….but i just let him go…..must be my age?then Fri a honker and i didn’t even get on to it,it was only my next fair,when i pulled over he shouted other door and ran round the offside,i was thinking of pulling away at this time thinking the lad was a freak,but he got in and said “sorry about that mate,the other door is covered with………..spew……………

Adrian’s this guys real name and he’s got a propper bad attitude,story’s going round that he used to be a millionaire and his his Mrs took him for everything(that would explain the bad attitude) but the guy is costing us work,he hasn’t got a set (radio) in his cab so he’s nothing to do with Merto,but….members of the public don’t know this and were getting painted with the same brush,2 complaints last night(sat) and 1 Fri,and its usually woman passengers that complain (don’t know why he dosent cause beef with men in our area)

We need him off the cabs asap,i’ll take my camera to work tomorrow and try and interview the chap.

Walking into our office,i notice a pair of ladies boots,so i ask “how come theirs a pair of ladies boots here?”and i got the reply “dunno,it’s another one of them great metro mysteries”

What’s going on in the world,i read in the papers about a family BABY BAITING trying to get a 2 year old girl to fight with her 3 year old brother and videoing it? one woman was heard saying “hit her you little fucking faggot”……..Another case was an armed robbery at a guys house,the thieves broke in,gave the guy a beating…..and what may you ask were they after………HIS X-BOX………..Our office got held up,who holds up a taxi office,you hold up banks,betting office’s,wine stores….not taxi office’s…..Baldy Fred had his taxi wrote off by some guys who got refused entry at Sullivans night club,so what do the guy’s do,go to their car,mount the pavement and try to run the doormen over,then when they missed,thew the car into reverse and hit Freds cab(nearly killing him by the way)….So now when an elderly person tells you “things were different in my day”    …………believe them. 

The Grand National came to our area again and the weather was beutiful,these girls in my cab had a lovelly day had a few drinks then……. wanted to pull each others hair out? 

Some lousey bastard held up our office with a knife,it was in the early hours of Thursday and the theif got away with a large amount of cash,thousands i believe coz all the wage’s were in and all the credit job refunds,i also believe metro’s finest doesent suffer from constipation antmore?

A friend of ours,(all taxi drivers know him) took his good lady out for a drink,on their way home they jump into a taxi and ask the driver if it’s o.k. to stop at the chippy to which he says ye,no problem (as he knows them as well)so….their in the chippy minding their own business when a large drunken man comes in and starts telling people to buy him something to eat (not asking nicely) so our friend says to the girl behind the counter “give him a sausage to shut him up and i’ll pay for it” but the guy wasn’t happy with that and started kicking off again so our friends good lady says to the girl “forget about that sausage love” so now they had turned their back on this guy he punches our friend in the back of the head very hard,sending him to the ground and hit his good lady,so getting back up immediately he grabbed hold of the guy and got him in a headlock,the taxi driver waiting for them sees this and radio’s through for help,so our friend gets the guy outside,trips him over and holds him down,waiting for the police,in the meen time a few taxi drivers and members of the public are holding the guy down now wating for the police,and give the police their dew,they arrived within a couple of minutes.

But one of the worst things that could ever happen, happened,the guy had some-kind of seizure……and Died………..

This has turned lives upside down,i’ve seen grown men cry,about this, o.k. the guy was trouble (big time) and the police have said “we know he was trouble and we know you were just defending yourself,but the guy is now dead”

So our friend and his good lady were arrested and released the next day,our friend got bail twice then the other day he got charrged with manslaughter,and said if the interview had gone wrong,he would have got charged with murder.

This young girl turned 18 today!
