This is on Rodney Street,(city centre) next to a very old unused church,the story goes,McKenzie was a gambler and poker player,it was said that if he never had a royal flush in his life time,in his death he’d like to be preserved in a tomb,sitting at a card table with a bottle of whiskey with a royal flush in his hand!

There is also many other variations of this story,he played cards with the devil and gambled his soul and lost then the devil said “i will not take your soul now but when your dead and buried”,so he never got buried and cheated the devil?
